If you believe you have a warranty claim, email us at [email protected] and include all information associated with the claim. Once your claim is reviewed, we will be replying to you through the email address you provided, so make sure everything is entered correctly to ensure you get a reply. Keep in mind that sometimes our warranty emails will end up in your spam folder, so be sure to check there as well when waiting on a reply.

If you have a specific part problem Lightning RC will determine if the issue in question is covered under warranty and will contact you within 3 business days after notified of a problem. If determined that the part or parts are covered under warranty, Lightning RC will send you the part(s) at no charge. We may ask for photos or that some parts to be returned prior to sending out replacement parts.
If you have a Redcat Racing vehicle problem, please fill out the Redcat Racing warranty claim form as all warranty claims are handled by Redcat Racing and not Lightning RC. Inform Redcat Racing that the vehicle was purchased from Lightning RC. Be very descriptive as to what the problem seems to be, and list any details about what troubleshooting has been done to try and get to the bottom of the problem.
Since these are hobby grade vehicles and products, the vehicles are intended to be worked on by the customer (even in warranty situations in which we send out parts to be replaced). The customer is responsible for shipping the vehicle to us, and if deemed to be covered under warranty, we will cover the parts, labor, and shipping back to you. If not covered under warranty, Lightning RC reserves the right to refuse to service the vehicle and the customer will be responsible for the purchase of any parts, as well as the shipping charges to have the items sent back.
Items Not Covered:
Drive train and suspension parts, Gears including spur, clutch-bell and others, Clutch & Clutch Spring, Pull Start.
General Warranty Information:
These warranties cover defects with the materials, workmanship, or assembly at factory only. These warranties do not cover breakage due to abuse, improper break-in, improper setup, or improper operation. Lightning RC does not accept any returns if fuel has been put into the vehicle or if the vehicle has been used in any way. New item returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and all returned items must first get an approval from Lightning RC prior to shipment.
